1. Pay My Rent is software for landlords to send rent bills and for tenants to pay them by debit card. We are not a landlord, bank or money transmitter, and we never hold rent.
2. Card payments are processed by Stripe on the landlord's own Stripe account under Stripe's terms.
3. Paying through Pay My Rent is optional for tenants. Landlords must offer at least one other way to pay rent and must show it here.
4. Landlords are responsible for their late fee rules and for following the law where their property is.
5. Landlords pay a flat price per unit. No fee is ever taken from rent.
